TAKE a look at this video from Syria. The Washington Post titles it: “Video said to show Syrian rebel executing unarmed prisoners.”
Watching people die should be unbearable. But it isn’t. You can’t help but wonder what is going on? Why is the camera so unsteady? The biggest problem is that this kind of thing sums up the media portrayal of the war in Syria. We’ve seen so little. We have next to no idea which side is the bigger villain and treating people worst.
One fact is true, however: the war is ugly.
