A truly dangerous man to cross, so I hope the police have their facts right.

I don’t think anyone feels much sympathy for Clifford’s position. Far too many times he has ‘fixed’ things for the wealthy and privileged. He admits to doing just this – creating a ‘persona’ for celebrities with private difficulties, so they can carry on deluding the public about their true nature.

It was nice having him squirm for a change, if only for a few hours.

If they haven’t got good evidence, they’d better have good lawyers – I can see some huge potential libel damages coming up, if it all goes tits-up.

I don’t think he could be arrested just for what he might know about certain people… That would come under the heading of “helping police with their enquiries” wouldn’t it? they would surely have to have some potential evidence directly against him to actually make an arrest?
