RIP Sir Patrick Moore. You were the BBC TV astronomer with the looks of a Bond villain. You presented the BBC programme The Sky At Night for at least 50 years. You were the longest-running host of the same television show in history. You were a star when TV was not on 24-hours a day. We watched when nothing else was on.
