Robin Van Persie wins: Manchester United beat Manchester City in photos

ROBIN Van Persie does it again. The former Arsenal player continues to do as he did last season with the Gunners: pulled an ordinary team up by its bootstraps. His winner came via a deflection from another former Gunner in who left the Emirates in search of a fatter wallet: Sami Nasri. Manchester United are not all that good. Manchester City are also not all that good. But with a great player up front, United won. The match winners get the big bucks – but not at Arsenal, obviously.

Paddy O’Bama is great fun. Most americans invent themselves an Irish ancestry in an effort to make themselves more interesting and to have an excuse for getting rat-arsed on saint patricks day. If only so much effort had been exerted on proving he is american ! He goes to france tomorrow. Look out for Jean-Paul Obama by thursday.
