TO Brick Lane, London, where the police are raiding 93 Feet East. Like most of you, last Friday night I noticed that burglars, money launderers and tax dodgers were doing all right. Meanwhile, 175 police officers as part of Operation Condor were getting on down to 93 Feet East. They were looking for drugs were being sold on the premises.

The 48-hour blitz featured 4,000 officers visting 5,830 venues! 93 Feet East was the largest police flash mob. In all, 297 people were arrested for such crimes as: theft, immigration breaches, public order offences and possession of Class A and Class B drugs and possession of drugs with the intent to supply.
