Adam Lanza and the Zombie Apocalypse.

Adam Lanza may have been enacting the Zombie Apocalypse and killing zombies when he went on his rampage.

It has been reported that he played first person shooter games. There is a whole multiplayer game devoted to the ‘Zombie Apocalypse’.

In the game you must shoot the zombies in the head to kill them quickly or else fire several bullets into them to finish them.

There is a song by Left 4 Dead called Kill the Zombies by shooting them in the head.

He killed his mother by shooting her in the head (4 times)

It was reported that he shot teachers (execution style) in the head and the children with several bullets.

It is has not yet been confirmed if any of the children were shot in the head.

He lived in a windowless basement which became his doomsday bunker for the zombie apocalypse.
His mother (a survivalist) probably reinforced his delusion by ‘preparing for worst’.

A Russian-made, semi-automatic tactical shotgun was left in the car.
In the zombie game you can pick up weapons lying around when you need them.
A shotgun is ideal for zombies because you can take the head off with one shot.

What I have suggested is not really the motive but rather the state of mind he was in at the time of the murders

I was reading that there is a rumour his mother was talking of having Adam committed, if not having actually taken steps to that end. If it turns out to be true, I suspect that might have been more influential than COD.

An ancillary rumour is that Adam had accused his mother of caring more about her students than him. Which if true, might explain things somewhat.
.
Who needs COD when your mother takes you down to a local firing range and teaches – or has you taught – how to use the weapons she has around the house.

it is not out of the realms of possibility that this boy’s mental state was affected by the extreme violence of such video games, which is well documented. Whilst Call of Duty may have not been completely responsible for the tragedy of Sandy Hook, it is a possibility that it had an undue influence on the gunman.
Your comments are trite and ill-thought out.

Are you kidding me?
You must be a total idiot to believe this.
This just in; The shooter ate breakfast EVERY day!! This could have something to do with the shooting of the childrens because we have reasons to believe that Osama bin Laden may also have been eating breakfast every day. wow.
