GREAT meetings: When Lemmy met Samantha Fox.

IN 2009, Samantha Fox told OK! magazine about her marriage to Myra Stratton: “I’ll tell you who’s definitely coming – Lemmy from Motörhead. We might get him to give me away, and we might get Liz Mitchell from Boney M to do the ceremony – she’s a pastor now.”

Lemmy Kilmister and Samantha Fox were a decent double-act. But they never did work together. In 2001, Lemmy was asked about his time with Fox:

D: Lemmy, you’ve been involved in several projects over the years: a Sam Fox collaboration, insurance adverts.
LEMMY: Sam Fox what?
CD: Collaboration. Didn’t you do a song with her?
LEMMY: Never happened. We only talked about it. It never got done.
CD: I read about it on a website.
LEMMY: That’s one of the great myths. The other one in Japan they thought I was married to Wendy O Williams.
