Erm… Paul has just been on LBC again today. The same company actually offered Paul the job he refused. Then he was late twice during the second week and got the sack. I am not the most punctual person… but even I know that going to a party, coming home at 3am and then stating that you forgot you had a job, still needed time to get used to the routine and still expect your employers to understand why you were late…. he’s delusional…
He’s now saying that he’s now on depression medication because he can’t get his benefit… He thinks you need to have a life outside work and that getting in on time means you are a creep…..Julia stated that what would happen if she started her programme late … 300 people called in whilst he was on the line.

yea – if the amount of money you were to get working a “low paid” job was significantly greater than what one would receive on benefits then more people would work.
.
They key is to up the wages not the benefits.
.
and for all her talk about not wanting her precious money to go to mr man on benefits.
.
I wonder how many P&G and Unilver employees who get Low pay, so that they company can spend millions on advertising, on radio stations like LBC, which ultimately pay for the DJ’s over inflated wages.
.
If people like her did not demand as much money, the stations operating costs would be less, thus they could charge advertisers less, thus advertisers would have more money to spend on wages (tho it’s debatable that they would) – So actually it’s people like her – with their greed and out of control materialism – who are the real reason so many people earn shite money and so would rather sit on benefits than work for a pitance.
.
Our time is something we value. and if by giving up 40 hours a week of your time your only £20 better off. Then you are a complete idiot if you work, as you are valuing your time at 50p an hour.
.
I wonder would little miss DJ work for NMW?
.
I fucking doubt it

JH-B sounded genuinely shocked to learn that there are hundreds of thousands of people on benefits who have no intention of ever working for NMW whilst we pay them far more to stay at home. She needs to get out more.
