Brazilian cat gets arrested with a saw and phone strapped to it
BRAZIL is, quite frankly, the most brilliantly ludicrous country on Earth. Away from the obviously mental Amazon rainforest, there’s the most corrupt football league on Earth, a fanatical belief in Jesus, appalling crime and poverty and the kind of folklore legends that makes English mythology look like a dank pond.
And to underline this, Brazilian police have arrested a cat.
That’s right. A cat got nabbed as it made its way INTO a jail, trying to sneak its way through the gates with a saw and a mobile phone strapped to its back.
Guards spotted the white cat with a load of stuff taped to it. When they looked closer, they found the feline felon was in possession of a mobile phone, drills, an earphone, a memory card, batteries, a phone charger and tiny saws as it tried to get into the prison in Arapiraca.
Now, all prisoners are being treated as suspects in the plot, which probably means no pudding until they find out who is behind it.
“It’s tough to find out who’s responsible for the action as the cat doesn’t speak,” a prison spokesperson told local paper Estado de S.Paulo, with a straight face.
Here’s a video of the criminal cat.
