Waitress goes naked for last shift
THE last day of one’s job always poses a problem: How should you leave with a bang? Should you tell your boss where to stick it and staple their eyelids to their forehead? Should you try and walk out with the office vending machine? Should you passionately kiss that person you’ve had your eye on all these years, slip your number in their open mouth and swagger out of there without a care in the world?
If you’re one lady in New York City (officially the new Rome), you decide to do your last shift as a waitress in the nip!
The Roberta’s employee decided to sign off, and become an internet superstar in the process, by seeing out her last day at work wearing nothing but boots and fishnet stockings.
Twitter user Vicky Oyomba tweeted a photo of the woman, posting: “So there definitely is a 95% naked waitress serving patrons at Roberta’s in #BK right now!!!”
Oyomba, 26, later told the Daily News: “We didn’t think it was a big deal. This is New York City. Seeing naked people somewhere is normal. ”[Later], she hugged a few people to say goodbye and then made her way around the restaurant.”
Would they have been so well received if it was a man? Very, very unlikely. Still, hurray for naked people!
