Taft school shooting: Unarmed teacher talked 16-year-old shooter into dropping weapon

by | 10th, January 2013

A 16-YEAR-old pupil at Taft High School in Taft, San Joaquin Valley, California has been shot by a fellow student. The shooter, armed with a 12-gage shotgun, aimed at another student but missed. The shgooter had lots of bullets.

An unarmed teacher talked him into handing down his weapon. The teacher suffered a pellet wound to his head but is fine.

Wayne LaPierre, Executive VePee of the National Rifle Association, has yet to comment. But our source at the NRA tells us that LaPierre, who advocates armed guards to be stationed in every US school, is aghast that the shooter was able to bypass a class of criminally unarmed kindergarteners and that the teacher was unable to shoot the shooter’s head off.

Some members of the NRA are incandescent with rage that the shooter was such a crap shot and armed with a weapon that wold prove useless in the likely event of invasion by Iran or Mars…
