Film director Michael Winner, chairman of the Police Memorial Trust, near the Broadwater Estate in Tottenham, where police officer Keith Blakelock was killed six months ago. The Trust is seeking permission for a memorial to be placed nearby. With the director is PC Michael Fowler, a close friend and colleague of the deceased.
