BREASTFEEDING riot in Sydney – latest:

Seven spokeswoman said the station had security measures in place and police on standby to deal with up to 800 women, many of whom plan to feed their babies, expected at its Sydney studio.

Police are on hand to save a TV studio from breastfeeding mothers and their bairns? Do the city’s burglars know..?

Background: David Koch, host of TV breakfast show Sunrise, said: I totally agree with breastfeeding in public but I think that you have to be a bit classy about it – that feed on the edge of the pool isn’t discreet enough.”

Expect a few words on the dangers of holding a baby by open water to follow.

PS – On tomorrow show: breastfeeding your pets.
