The British Board of Film Classification’s Mull of Kintyre penis test
EVER hear of the the Mull of Kintyre test, the fabled test was the rod by which the dread British Board of Film Classification measured the erectness of the human penises? If the knob was raised to an angle greater than the land mass, the film in which it featured was banned. In the best traditions of Hollywood agents, the penis must be cut:
The BBFC would not permit the general release of a film or video if it depicted a phallus erect to the point that the angle it made from the vertical (the “angle of the dangle”, as it was often known) was larger than that of the Mull of Kintyre, Argyll and Bute, on maps of Scotland.
Of course, that might be Arran, or bollocks, as the BBFC are wont to put it…
