Is Obama’s skeet shooting photo a fake?
AS the gun debate rages in the US, it was revealed that Barack Obama loves shooting skeet at Camp David. Then a picture was produced. Then another one. What’s with all the sudden shooting? Perhaps Obama is getting paranoid that the Government is trying take his guns? If anyone breaks into the White House, Obama will there to protect his kids and blow the invaders away. It’s his Second Amendment rights, dammit!
Meanwhile, a reader looks at the above photo and wonders about Obama the natural athlete who bowls for Columbine:
“What the hell is Barack ‘Annie Oakley in Mom Jeans’ Obama shooting at – the trap house? His gun is almost horizontal, yet judging by the smoke it’s in muzzle jump. Was he shooting at a copy of the Bill of Rights nailed to a post five feet off of the ground?
“What’s the smoke blowing out of the right side of the barrel – is it a ‘one-sided compensator’ that prevents him from shooting too far right? And while he’s no doubt firing low base shells he sure can handle recoil for a skinny guy. If I didn’t know better I’d think he was posing with a fake shotgun that was just blowing smoke out of the barrel for effect.

When asked if he’s ever fired a gun before, Obama told the magazine, ‘Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time.’ Asked if his family takes part, Obama responded, ‘Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there.’ It was an unexpected revelation from a man not exactly known for being an outdoorsy, gun-toting type. So unexpected, in fact, that many people aren’t buying it. And we’re one of them. Call us the Skeeters. There are four main reasons we don’t believe that Obama shoots skeet ‘all the time’ at Camp David. For one thing, he referred to it as ‘do skeet shooting,’ which is how people usually talk about things with which they are not very familiar. Your grandma asks you if you ‘do Twitter.’ Second, and more significant, there has been zero prior documentation of Obama shooting skeet.”

C’mon give the guy a break he probably just thought “shooting skeet” meant something entirely different that did not involve firearms.

might it just be the case that he is crap at shooting? just because he is President of the US doesn’t make him Superman….

This guy is as phony as John Kerry! Kerry said he loves crawling around in the dirt and mud while pheasant hunting.

This is so fake. The barrel is Magna Ported but the smoke is only coming out the back side. Also his stance is phony and he does not even know how to hold the weapon. The amount of smoke shown is more like a muzzle loader than a current round with smokeless powder which is shown correctly in the 2nd photo here. This is just another deceit to help him push his agenda on gun control. Coincidence that this is the only photo but it is released to the press right before he starts his tour to promote his gun control agenda. I have been a shooter for over 50 years and this is obviously a heavily edited image not a real photo.
