The sweetest CV in the world is printed on a Nestlé Crunch bar
INVENTIVE jobseeker, Nick Begley, was getting pretty hacked off with not finding a job, and so, he decided to get creative with his CV. No, he didn’t pretend he’d gone to university and invent a load of jobs he hadn’t done, but rather, turned his resume into something that no-one could ignore.
Seeing as everyone likes chocolate, he hit on the idea and decided to turn the bar’s wrapper in a CV.
He headlined it: ‘Credentials that will satisfy any organisation’s appetite’, and, not wishing to undersell himself, added that he offered ‘100 per cent daily value in leadership, creativity and business acumen’.
If you’re wondering which chocolate bar he used, it was a Nestlé Crunch bar. Better yet, this little stunt worked for Nick and the MBA student was offered a marketing job with New York-based Sportsvite.
“I knew I had to stand out from other applications,” said Begley from New York state.
Of course, his CV is currently going viral after his friend Eli Langer posted a photo of the wrapper on to Reddit, where it has acquired thousands of comments.
Begley told ABC News:
“People are either going to love it or hate it. My focus was to find an organization that would embrace it because if they weren’t open to that kind of out-of-the-box thinking, that wouldn’t be a company that I would fit in well with anyways.”
