WHO threw a banana at Tottenham Hotspur’s Gareth Bale during the North London derby with Arsenal?

b) Johnny Morris?
c) His mum, keen to ensure he gets his five-a-day?
d) A fan making a ham-fisted attempt to kickstart the inflatables craze?
e) The Man from Del Monte?
f) Martin Keown

PS – has anyone linked Gareth Bale’s upsurge in play with his ears, which seem more streamlined? Has it given him more confidence? Could it work for others? Was Cristiano Ronaldo a makewight left back until he got his ears sorted? Could Lionel Messi be even better?
