Saudi Arabia runs out of swordsmen to execute prisoners

Saudi Arabia National Guard
SITUATIONS Vacant: the Saudi Government is running low on swordsmen employed to execute the guilty. Unless swordsmen can be found, execution will be by firing squad.
Al-Youm reports that a committee of ministers is debating the issue:
“This solution seems practical, especially in light of shortages in official swordsmen or their belated arrival to execution yards in some incidents; the aim is to avoid interruption of the regularly-taken security arrangements.”
Anorak sits on no Saudi committees (overlooked since the incident), but we’d like to make a suggestion: guillotine. This head chopper would allow the Saudis to keep alive their Medieval theme park, save on bullets and service their sponsorship deal with Sabatier.
