If Lord Ahmed is a pariah why doesn’t the Labour Party kick out more members for alleged anti-Semitism?

THE Labour Party has suspended their Lord Ahmed for his alleged comments that a Jewish conspiracy lurked behind his imprisonment for driving offences in which a man was killed. Says Labour:

“The Labour Party deplores and does not tolerate any form of anti-Semitism.”

Good that it does. Odd that it feels a need to state it. But, then, anti-racism is the moral cause the elite use to binds the nation.

But what does Labour do when others are accused of racism? Take Tam Dalyell, then a Labour MP, who said Tony Blair was being “unduly influenced by a cabal of Jewish advisors”? That time, Labour did nothing.

A  Cabal is defined as:

the artifices and intrigues of a group of persons secretly united in a plot (as to overturn a government); also : a group engaged in such artifices and intrigues

And then there was Paul Flynn, the Labour MP for Newport West, who objected to Matthew Gould’s appointment as UK ambassador to Israel. He said Jews should not hold the post“to avoid the accusation that they have gone native”. Britain needed “someone with roots in the UK [who] can’t be accused of having Jewish loyalty”.

You can’t be a Muslim if you are to represent the UK in Pakistan or a Hindu on a mission to India. What about if you’re black and want to be ambassador to an African country or of Chinese heritage and fancy being UK ambassador to Japan?*

And what of Ken Livingstone, the Labour mayor of London who had the following exchange with Evening Standard reporter Oliver Finegold:

Finegold: No, I’m Jewish, I wasn’t a German war criminal and I’m actually quite offended by that. So, how did tonight go?

Livingstone: Ah right, well you might be Jewish, but actually you are just like a concentration camp guard, you are just doing it because you are paid to, aren’t you?

More on ‘Red’ Ken here.

If you are going to have a zero-tolerance police, then it must be consistent. If not, you must wonder what the point of it is..?

* In free and equal Britain none are.
