THAT Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Mathews is bit of knob is a surprise to only those of you who think Katie Price sleeps on her front. Speaking to OK!, Matthews is talking about “dumping his girlfriend Louise Thompson” on the TV show. Before doing to, he cheated on her and behaved, by his own admittance, horribly. OK! asks him:

“Did you lose respect for her after she took you back after you cheated?”

Reading that, Anorak is reminded of the words of Kenny Dalglish, who when Liverpool FC’s manager spoke of his side’s looming match with Manchester United. It would be Luis Saurez (Liverpool) and Patrice Evra (United and France) first meeting since the Uruguayan had racially abused the Frenchman. Said Dalglish:

“We have spoken to Suárez. I know he will shake the hand of Patrice Evra and the other Manchester United players before the game.”

Very big of him. Only, if anyone was going to be holding back at the pre-match handshake might it be Evra, the victim?

But in this brave new world you back your more valuable asset. So. Liverpool’s best player Suarez is the guilty party able to forgive his victim and Matthews, who has fronted a show on OK!’s sister broadcaster Channel 5, is able to forgive the woman he wronged.

It’s a funny old world.
