Nominative determinism: Copper’s son burgled woman’s home to steal knickers and sex toys
NOMINATIVE determinism time now, readers. To Northampton Magistrates Court, where a man – a policeman’s son – is accused of breaking into a woman’s home and stealing her sex toys and knickers.
When police visited his home, they found lots of underwear, lubricant and dildos. They asked him why he owned a big bra. He replied that he was a “large size”.
Police also found in his home: police helmets, CS gas spray, handcuffs, a police uniform and a stab vest.
His name? Mark Cox.
His victim’s name? Emma Pinches.
Mr Cox has been found guilty of two counts of burglary, one count of possessing a weapon designed for the discharge of CS gas and possessing a police uniform.
