Jose Laparra

PEOPLE in football are all thunderous bores or terrifically crackers. Mercifully, we’re looking at the latter here with Jose Laparra.

Jose, who used to be president of Spanish side Club Deportivo Castellon, has been accused of breaking into his fortune teller’s home in a bid to reclaim the $180,000 he paid for a ‘love spell’ that apparently failed to work.

Do they not have Viagra in Spain?

According to the New York Daily News, investigators say the soccer boss paid fortune teller Lucia Martin $210,000 to help bring an old fling back into his arms.

Brilliantly, the soothsayer foresaw the arrival of Laparra and four of his friends, and called the police to her home in Zaragoza.

The police officers say that Laparra suffered an anxiety attack during his arrest and was taken to hospital, because he’s mental and needs magic people to maintain his erection.

All five suspects have since been released on bail.
