HEATH Campbell wore a Nazi uniform for a court hearing in Flemington, New Jersey. Mr Campbell, father to Adolf Hitler Campbell, 7, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, 6, and Honzlynn Jeannie Campbell, 5, was seeking the right to see his 18-month-old Heinrich Hons Campbell, who was taken from him after his birth in November 2011.

We first met Mr Chambpell and his theme family in 2008. He’d decorated his home with swastikas and ordered a cake from a branch of ShopRite in Holland Township,. He wanted the icing to say “Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler”. Shopkeeper Yukan Fukov refused.

Campbell responded:

“Other kids get their cake. I get a hard time. It’s not fair to my children. How can a name be offensive?”

“They’re just names, you know. Yeah, they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They’re not going to grow up like that.”

Mr Fukov did not repsond. We like to think he just pointed to his name badge.

Mr Campbell said he named his son after Hitler because he liked the name and because “no-one else in the world would have that name”.

Then in 2009, the Hitler youth went to live in the care of social services (surely Democratic Socialist services? – ed).

In 2010, social workers found that the Campbells’ “recklessly created a risk of serious injury to their children by failing to protect the children from harm and failing to acknowledge and treat their disabilities”.

Mr Campbell aided his battle to live with her kids by arriving in court dressed in black boots he claimed were owned by a Nazi soldier.

Yesterday, Mr Campbell, 40, told NBC10 before the hearing.

“Let me prove to the world that I am a good father. I’ve never abused my children, I only name my children and I don’t think it’s right any more. Basically, what they’re saying is because of my beliefs and I’m a Nazi, that us people don’t have any constitutional rights to fight for our children.”

And about his outfit?

“If they’re good judges and they’re good people, they’ll look within, not what’s on the outside.”

To the operating theatre. Have young Master Mengele Campbell wash his hands…
