Russian State TV says gays have hearts that aren’t fit for life

Activists stage a theatrical play where gay people are restrained by others wearing masks depicting Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a protest against Russia's new law on gays, in central London, Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. Hundreds of protesters, called for the Winter 2014 Olympic Games to be taken away from Sochi, Russia, because of a new Russian law that bans "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations" and imposes fines on those holding gay pride rallies. RUSSIAN politicians hate gay people. Quite why, it isn’t clear. Have they even heard Mighty Real by Sylvester? Clearly not because that’s the greatest pop song ever made and on impact, it turns even the worst git into a whirling disco machine in love with gay culture.

On a serious note, quite why Russia is so obsessed with people’s genitalia is beyond us. Isn’t Communism and Marxism against religion and all that? Either way, Russian top dog, Vladimir Putin, is waging some chilling war against homosexuals and people are ‘going missing’, being tortured and arrested for having the audacity to be born liking the same sex.

And now, Russian State Television is spouting some awful stuff about our gay brethren.

On ‘Vesti’, – Rossiya 1’s top news show – the important and influential Dmitri Kisilev told his fellow Russian citizens that the hearts of LGBT people are “unsuitable” for life.

Kisilev says, in a video you can see below:

“I think that just imposing fines on gays for homosexual propaganda among teenagers is not enough,” and that gay people “should be banned from donating blood, sperm,” because “their hearts, in case of the automobile accident, should be buried in the ground or burned as unsuitable for the continuation of life.”

So, according to the powers that be, Russians should prefer to die rather than accept a transplant from someone with a different genital interest than themselves.

Laughable.

According to the BBC, Russia 1 is part of a TV network that is wholly-controlled by the Kremlin, so you can bet that this message is fully endorsed by Vladimir Putin.

Watch this video and feel your heart sinking. Sort it out Russia, you’re much better than this dreadful nonsense!
