Arsenal: Frimpong Wonders Why ‘Racist’ Gunners Never Pick A Black Goalkeeper
ARSENAL tyro Emmanuel Frimpong might not be all that bright. Not in the Gunners’ squad to play Chelsea in tonight’s Capital One Cup, Frimpong, 21, was asked on Twitter why he thought he hadn’t made the cut. He replied:
”LOL I wanna laugh. Sometimes I wish I was white and English #realtalk”.
Hey, doesn’t everyone want to be one of God’s own people (see Ukip handbook)?
But the Sun spots not a wally making a foolish comment but the “sparks” of a “race row” and “an amazing race storm”.
Let’s debate the issue. Arsenal, the club whose living legends include Ian Wright, Patrick Viera and Thierry Henry; managed by a Frenchman; the first team to field not a single English player in a Premier League starting XI; the team owned by an American and an Uzbek who bought shares from the Jewish David Dein and the Indian-born Lady Bracewell Smith.
On the other side of the coin: Arsenal never have employed a Pakistani goalkeeper.
Frimpong then tweeted:
“Not every tweet is football related. Goosh [sic - literally no idea what that means!]. Look what ever [sic] you read tomorrow has majorly been twisted. Is a joke what people will do to start controversy goodnight people.”
PS – This is the brainbox Frimpong once fined £6,000 by the FA for referring to a Tottenham fan as “scum Yid” on Twitter.
