Priests’ Relief: Pietro Lamberti, 60, Had Legal Sex wIth An 11-Year-Old Says Italy’s Supreme Court
TO Rome, Italty, where the 60-year-old man who had sex with an 11-year-old girl is off the hook.
Back in February 2011, social worker Pietro Lamberti was found guilty of sex with a minor, a child from a poor family in the country’s south. His crimes earned him a five-year prison sentence.
He appealed. He lost.
So. he appealed again, this time to Italy’s supreme court. The wise heads thought he’d been hard done by. The original court did not take into account “the existence of an amorous relationship, the absence of physical force, the girl’s feelings of love.”
Yeah. It was what she had wanted.
Wonder what the judges’ neighbours at the Vatican make of it all?
