Drunk Yorkshire Woman Drove To McDonald’s Drive Thru When Staff Refused To Seve Her Unless She Was In A Car

by | 23rd, March 2014

WENDY Simpson had been drinking when she walked up to the Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, branch of McDonald’s.
But the shop was shut. Staff won’t serve her unless she used the 24 hour drive-thru window.
Simpson, 25, of Almondbury, went home and got her Vauxhall Corsa. Three times over the legal drink-drive limit, Simpson returned to the Drive-Thru.
On her way there, police spotted the car. They signalled for her to pull over. Simpson then swerved into a kerb and drove through a red light.
In court, Simpson was banned from driving for 24 months and sentenced to a one year community order.
But it wasn’t all bad. She never got her McDonald’s.
