DANA Snay cost her father £80,000. When dear Dana realised her headmaster father had won an age-discrimination lawsuit against his former employer, the Miami-based Gulliver Preparatory School, she started to boast.

She told her Facebook friends:

“Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

The Miami Herald says that bragging cost Mama and Papa their entire haul of $80,000 compensation,.

Dana had been a student at Gulliver, and it didn’t take long for the school to pick ip the scent. Papa Snay had signed a confidentiality agreement. He would say nothing of the $150,000 settlement, that included $60,000 in lawyers’ fees.

Gulliver sued for breach of contract. And won. A Florida appeals court found in its favour.

Elie Mystal quips:

“Remember when all you had to worry about was your daughter posting naked selfies of herself on Facebook? Now, things are worse.”

Put it down to the follies of youth. If that’s not discriminatory…
