The Most Painful Looking Photos From The 2014 Cooper’s Hill Cheese Roll

THEY came in their hundreds to chase after a big double rolling Double Gloucester cheese in the Cheese Rolling on Cooper’s Hill race near Brockworth, Gloucestershire.

Josh Shepherd, 19, from Brockworth, Gloucester, won the men’s downhill.  He is delighted:

“I don’t know what I’m going to do with the cheese. I don’t really like cheese unless it’s melted, cheese on toast maybe… I’ve done it and won and I’m really proud of myself.”

Lucy Townsend, 17, was the women’s champion for the third consecutive year. She was also chuffed to bits:

“… it’s absolutely brilliant to have won. I also won a cheese last year.”

You can’t have too much cheese, Lucy. You can only have too few crackers.
