And the signs are that Di Maria is not all that keen on United. The report states:

…that transfer to the French capital collapsed as PSG were unable to meet Real’s asking price, thought to have been £50m.

That same say the Indy said Di Maria was heading to Manchester United for £48m.

Wow! That’s £35m more than the Star said Real wanted for him.

The Irish Indy says that £75m is not needed. Angel Di Maria is Manchester United’s for £64m.

The Metro says the deal has been done.

United have already agreed a British record transfer fee for the winger, with the £64m deal eclipsing the £50m Chelsea paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres in 2011.

The Times says no deal has been done:

Sources in Spain said last night that a fee of £63.9 million has been agreed, but United maintained that an agreement had not been reached

But it knows how much Di Maria will earn:

Di María said goodbye to his team-mates in Madrid yesterday and is expected to fly to Manchester today with a view to taking a medical and signing a contract worth £200,000 a week.

Mark Ogden tells Telegraph readers that it’s £60m.

Despite efforts by Florentino Pérez, the Real president, to increase Di María’s valuation to £75 million — just £5 million short of the world record fee received by United from Real for Cristiano Ronaldo in June 2009 – United are confident that a deal in the region of £60 million can be struck for the former Benfica player.

And along comes the ever full-of-it Goal.com to trump everyone valuation and yell that Di Maria will cost United £150m. The website says he will earn £300,000 a week.
