TRANSFER Balls: The Daily Express has sensational news for Arsenal fans. The Gunners are not buying one striker. Nor buying two strikers. They are buying three strikers. This will leave them with NINE strikers (not including the others – ed).

As Arsene Wenger told us:

“We have [Yaya] Sanogo who will be an important asset, we have Giroud, we have Lukas Podolski, we have Joel Campbell who can play centre forward. We have Alexis [Sanchez] and [Theo] Walcott coming back. Let’s not forget that.”

But the Express’ Chalres Perrin has shocking news:

Arsenal lining up amazing TRIPLE swoop with Olivier Giroud facing long lay-off

Who? Who? Who?

LOIC REMY, Edinson Cavani and Danny Welbeck are all on Arsenal’s hit list as they seek to beef up their frontline with Olivier Giroud facing a long lay-off.

Wow! Arsenal are going to buy a trio of strikers – one who is likley to cost over £40m  – to replace Giroud.

He really is that good.
