Transfer Balls: ‘PSG Goalkeeper’ Invites Manchester United Fans To Plunder Paris

by | 17th, September 2014

TRANSFER Balls: The Daily Express continues to be rich source for utter drivel presented as rumour-based fact.

Today, the paper tells readers that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper has “risked the wrath of United fans by suggesting he wasn’t sad to see Angel Di Maria move to Manchester”.

The PSG goalkeeper says Di Maria “would have been surplus to requirements” at PSG.

Feel the wrath as Manchester United fans gnash their teeth at the temerity of the PSG goalkeeper, whose name is…  Well, can anyone help the Express, which fails to mention what it is? Why, it’s Salvatore Sirigu, of course.

And he didn’t say PSG have no need for Di Maria, the player they were unable to buy because of financial fair play rules. What he said was:

“Financial Fair Play is not a subject I know much about, although I do think the clubs who can afford to build should be allowed to do so.  However, we are still at a very high level even without Angel Di Maria.”

Hopefully, the facts have come in time to stop United fans smashing up Paris or raging at Sirigu on twitter….
