LIVERPOOL FC don’t want their fans to swear at the match.

Liverpool’s official Instagram account features a picture of Bart Simpson writing “I will not swear when I sing the Stevie G song”.

Bart Simpson sings about Steven Gerrard? We thought he just had shares in the club.

The Liverpool language police who want to turn their fans into 2D supporters working to a prime-time TV script then supply the lyrics:

“He’s big and he’s VERY hard! #LFC @stevengerrard.”

He’s big and he’s VERY [shouting] hard hashtag LFC at steven gerrard [in lower case whisper].

Hmm. Not corporate enough. Needs a sponsor:

“He’s big and he’s VERY hard! #LFC @stevengerrard #pepsi-co-rocks”

And can you guys make it scan to the tune of Phil Collins’ Sussudio? He’d like that.

Anorak’s in-house Scouser tells us that the chant is, “He’s big and he’s fucking hard Steven Gerrard”.

But we’ll have none of that at Anfield.

And Stevie G. can watch his mouth, too:

Can you sing without swearing?

Yes. This more wholesome. The Manchester United Mobile Choir Inc. (sponsored by Ricola lozenges and KFC) don’t swear once.
