Manchester City Balls: Yaya Toure makes Citizens a one-man team

by | 9th, February 2015

In “Yaya Gaga” (?), the Sun says Manchester City “have not won a Prem game without Toure…but they still won’t rush him back”.

City have “not won any of the SIX Premier League matches they have played without Toure this season”.

The story is clear: without Toure, City don’t win. City are a one-man team.

Earlier this season, City defeated Spurs 4-1.

The final goal was scored on 75 minutes.

Yaya Toure arrived on the pitch after 76 minutes:

Of course, games are played over 90 minutes plus injury time, but a limp Spurs were well beaten by the time Yaya appeared. He wasn’t needed.

But maybe the mere thought of Toure coming on scared Spurs into defeat and inspired City to victory…
