Transfer Balls: Arsenal go for Nabil Fakir, Guillermo Ochoa and Bernd Leno

Transfer Balls: The last transfer window has only just closed but already the Sun is linking Arsenal to a new man: Lyon’s Nabil Fakir.

The Sun says Fakir is attracting £25m of Arsenal’s cash. He’s 21. He likes tos core goals. And, as the Sun says, he might not be allowed to leave Lyon.

And having introduced a player and told readers that Lyon are “desperate” to keep hold of him (and PSG are keen), the Sun adds that “The Gunners also want Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno”.

Do they? Well, the Sun says so.

And when one newspaper speaks, the others race to agree. The Daily Express writes:

Arsenal plot £50m DOUBLE swoop for Lyon ace Nabil Fekir and Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno

They are? Dunno. The Express‘ headline is backed up by not one single fact.

Which means it’s time for the conniving Daily Mirror to phrase it all as a question:

Arsenal news and transfers: Guillermo Ochoa and Bernd Leno on Arsene Wenger’s radar?

Facts: none.

But that’s three new faces at Arsenal. You can count on it!
