Portable record player
This new record player brings “Hi Fi” down to small-fry level and price. The high fidelity may be a few shades lower than on full-sized sets, but the sound is good, and the machine plays children’s records of any size and speed. It works by a hand crank, easy to turn. The crank gives youngsters a chance to develop a sense of rhythm and timing as they enjoy their records. The player is named “Hi Fi Junior.” Photo taken August 9, 1956. (AP Photo)
