“If I hadn’t been on a life support machine I’d have been in Ireland. But my heart stopped. It was a really strange turn of events.”
Yeah. Far out.
“Obviously, the doctors’ immediate thought was that it was to do with drugs but it wasn’t - it was some kind of poisoning.”
Bad drugs?
“What happened? Well, I don’t know, I don’t remember. At the time I thought I was a taxi driver offering to take everyone to Elephant And Castle.”

AT the Topshop Unique Spring/Summer ‘10 catwalk show during London Fashion Week at the Topshop Venue, University of Westminster in London, Anorak spots the Sados (Sons and Daughters of Stars), for whom the Celebrity Petri Dish is not only small but fraught with the peril of incest.

Chloe Green’s dad is Sir Philip Green, billionaire owner of the Arcadia Group.

Babyshambles Peter Doherty Court Case, On Coke
GOOD old Pete Doherty, aka Babyshambles Pete, who has not died but remains alive and continuing his tour of UK courtooms with an unplugged gig at the Magistrates Court in Cheltenham.
Last month, Babyshambles Pete, the 30-year-old ex-Libertines frontman, was stopped in Gloucester after police officers spotted a car allegedly being driven erratically.
The Celebrity Police Force went into action and enlivened up a dull night by getting up close with a celeb.

The Star brings news that Doherty continues to live (or not?) and has had a new anti-heroin implant fitted so he “didn’t go off the rails at Glastonbury”.
Drugs do different things to different people. The narrative says that drugs may have helped Jackson attain the peak of all-singing, all-dancing powers, whereas drugs seemingly enable Doherty to remain a celebrity and tour courtrooms.

Harry Potter Actor Arrested For Drugs
HARRY Potter actor Jamie Waylett, aka Hogwarts pupil Vincent Crabbe, has been arrested after police allegedly found cannabis worth £2,000 in his bedroom.
Waylett caught the eye of London’s Celebrity Police Service suspicion when he was driving about the city in a “car”.
To his home in Camden North London, and failing to spot Amy Winehouse or even Peter Doherty, the CPS make do with nicking Waylett and confiscating, as is alleged, ten mature cannabis plants valued at around £2,000.

Making A Monkey From A Hypodermic Needle Tree
SAYS the Mail: “150-year-old monkey puzzle tree facing chop because council says its needles are ‘like syringes’”.
A close look at tree reveals a line of pasty-faced monkey enthusiasts forming an orderly cue by the third branch to the rear. One has scaled the tree and unfurled a banner on which alikeness of Peter Doherty has been painted in Marmite.
Not for nothing does the Mail say that the monkey puzzle tree at West Cross, near Swansea, became a “much-loved local landmark”.
But it’s encouraging the wrong crowd and has to go. Says a council spokesman:
“Safety experts have said the tree is too much of a risk to children for it to remain. One expert likened the tree foliage to discarded syringe needles and warns they pose a probable risk of serious injury to children. The authority could find itself defending any litigation, should this arise.”
