The New Anorak
AFTER much planning the new Anorak site is here.
There are improved features. Things are better.
- Celebrities are more stunning.
- Politicians’ smiles are brighter.
- Sportsmen are more triumphant.
- Money is yours for the taking.
Over the next week or so we will introduce still more features – including forums.
Your ideas are appreciated and, for now, can be submitted at the end of each article.
Send in your articles and point out things you have enjoyed looking at and reading.
Along with the death threats, incantations and adverts for a bigger pen!s, we will read your ideas and debate them in the War Room here at Anorak Towers.
Old Mr Anorak extends the shaking hand of friendship to all his readers.
Just back from taking the Thai ladies’ ping-pong team through their paces at his winter training camp, our patron is ready for a new challenge.

Wow…A whole new format for me to get my tiny little brain around. I have a sense that we’re gonna have such larks with this. I like it - a whole new challenge just when I thought I had the old format all figured out.
However, I don’t even know if my post will post seeing how - Omigod - I have to do maths at the spam protection box. Sweet Jayzus, life used to be so straight forward. My cramped brain is in “Mornin after the night before” mode with added angst of it being one hour later right now than it was this time yesterday due to some fuckwit’s idea to “spring forward” 3 weeks earlier this year in North America.
I’m not sure if I can deal with so much confusion all at once so I’m going to uncork something chilled, sec and blanc and try to come to terms with it all. If I can find a way to wend my way back to this place, I shall see you anon but please - can we leave the maths at Extremely Basic cos where I’m concerned a correct answer depends entirely on how many fingers I have.
Mind you, there’s every chance I might be seeing double the amount of those by the time I need to count on ‘em again.

Oops! - screwed up when I first sent this query, it seems to be everywhere but here. So here goes again :
1/ Will there be a seperate Backlash-style Forum, or will the forums relate only to articles published in Anorak?
2/ Is it possible to place the number of contributions to a forum in the way that you do with ‘‘Opinions’’. Thus saving me spending the greater part of my working day hurtling around the place seeing if there are any updates?

and then more specific forums for celebrity enthusiasts, Spurs fans and over deviants.

One concern here (which does not worry me at all )but may be a major issue for others.
f you follow the sign on menu you eventually reach the area which shows previous comment and post. Full e-mail addresses are available for all to see at that point.
There are perhaps those who would not like this right up ‘em.??

It’s accepted things can be little not joined up every so often right now, but, are we getting the Brit Spears caption results?

1 How often will you decide a winner/runner ups?
2 Is there a prize for the winner?(or the honour of winnning?)
3 Who will choose the winner?
4 Are you happy with the response to the new caption contest?
5 Is MY winners dictionary from last August still going around the world before reaching Brazil?
