“The USS Lake Erie, armed with an SM-3 missile designed to knock down incoming missiles — not orbiting satellites — launched the attack at 10:26 p.m. EST, according to the Pentagon. It hit the satellite about three minutes later as the spacecraft traveled in polar orbit at more than 17,000 mph.”

The American Army stinks.
If they weren’t big and rich they’d win no wars ever.
And if Tony had any sense he would have aped Harold Wilson’s stand over Vietnam and left well alone - don’t team up with a country famous for Friendly Fire unless the Germans are about to cross the channel (and even then….)
