Those Oscar Losers in Full, With Ryan Seacrest And not Gary Busey

THE Oscars are over, that AGM for the Hollywood entertainment industry. The stage show that sets out to prove why so many Hollywood stars are not stage actors.

The media was out in force, including chipmunk-voiced American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.

This is video of Seacrest at work, bringing in actor Gary Busey to meet actresses Laura Linney and  Jennifer Garner and then not bothering to talk to him:

  1. 1 Lynn Hampton Says:

How snoody of Hollywood to shun Mr. Busey the way they have. Good grief, the guy was just trying to be nice. He was passing through and wanted to say “hello”. I’m so sick of how holier than thou Hollywood has become. You’d think he’d walked over and sprayed urine all over Jen and Ryan. Had they looked down their noses any more they would have been cross-eyed.

  2. 2 Greg Glass Says:

I agree with Lynn H. This is being blown out of proportion at the expense of Busey, it’s really not that big of a deal.

  3. 3 Karen Says:

I agree with the others Lynn and Greg, Gary is a great actor and had every right to be there. They are acting like he did such a awful thing. If George Clooney did that it would have been fine. George is known for his comical side and the bags of tricks he pulls on people - Maybe not at Oscar time but I really think they are lam-blasting Gary! What a shame! Gary is not threatening and scary, just a bit excited and I guess high on life since his near fatal motorcycle accident year ago. High on life not drugs! Why is everyone quick to judge that he had been drunk!?
Jennifer did say at one point the kiss was nice. Ryan is going on about it cause it interrupted his interview.

  4. 4 Angela Says:

I agree. I think he was just trying to be nice. From Gary’s vantage point, he couldn’t see that Ryan was conducting an interview at the time. He came over to talk with Ryan and yes, they turned their noses up at him. How dare they? If he were slobbering drunk, I could see their face making but this is not fair to Gary Busey. I am not a huge fan of his or anything, I just felt sorry for the way they treated them. Pbbrrrttttt to them.

  5. 5 Louie Says:

Gary Busey, in my opinion represents my generation of classic Hollywood. To see icons of classic Hollywood be treated incorrectly is quite disturbing. To know that as actor’s age, they may become an easy target for future generation to scrutinize them. Now let’s understand the timing, my classic Hollywood isn’t black and white films. Although flicks were in color, it’s not like the crystal clear stuff we get today. I believe it’s the ideology of staying a true fan to those you grow up watching, is what make Hollywood important. Gary Busy doesn’t just represent Gary Busy, he represents those moments in time for many actors. Many actors, whose status has grown tremendously while starting off as young adults, in my opinion also considered my own classic Hollywood. Example like (classic the fresh prince: Will Smith; Risky Business: Tom Cruz; Conan: Schwarzenegger; Big: Tom Hanks; The Color Purple: Whoopi Goldberg:; etc…) I just don’t understand the mind process of choosing to look cool for today’s youth over having the good character jugdement to show someone of older Hollywood, some respect. If I had to pick either good mannerism over acting cool and collective. I’d pick good mannism any day. Even though it’s live and you have to react fast, I don’t believe Seacrest handle the situation with good judgment. Then to carry on and poke fun was going over board. Also Jennifer Garner and those two guys whom I really enjoyed their movie “knocked up” “super bad”. I watched both movies, twice. I never laughed so hard. Still I didn’t understand how they could carry on with Seacrest, Busey is the fellow actor. They should have been witty and humorous in sticking up for him, instead of adding to the punch line. Then Jennifer Garner with the “I got cooties look”, she should be so lucky someone from classic Hollywood say’s hi to her. In my opinion, she is only a body actor “someone you want to look at, but not listen too”. All I know is, I will pass on ever watching “The E news”, or even that channel if too many commercial come out for it. As for the “Twins sequel Bunch” another classic flick, I will have to pass on there flicks for not having the nutt sack, to sick up for one of there own. I also have to pass on Garner’s movies as well, which will be easy because I usually wait two years for them to come out on T.V. for free anyways.
