This, coupled with the realisation that the role of the artist as Deus ex Machina may have a deeper significance, brings us back full circle to considering our spiritual core. And it means we can flog it twice... And verily, the gap has been filled!

This undoubtedly is what Jeff Nuttall characterised as a Happening, with the second stage now presented forcing us to reflect on the transient nature of all human experience.

This, coupled with the realisation that the role of the artist as Deus ex Machina may have a deeper significance, brings us back full circle to considering our spiritual core.
