The Number Plates Of The Beast: Church, State And Al Goreans
DO you ‘I Believe’? Well do YOU?
A group that advocates separation of church and state filed a federal lawsuit Thursday to prevent South Carolina from becoming the first state to create “I Believe” license plates.
The group contends that South Carolina’s government is endorsing Christianity by allowing the plates, which would include a cross superimposed on a stained glass window.
Washington-based Americans United for Separation of Church and State filed the lawsuit on behalf of two Christian pastors, a humanist pastor and a rabbi in South Carolina, along with the Hindu American Foundation.
“I do believe these ‘I Believe’ plates will not see the light of day because the courts, I’m confident, will see through this,” said the Rev. Barry Lynn, the group’s executive director.
If approved it sets the God bothering car driver against the God bothereing Al Gorean. If Jesus drove a car, he’d choose a donkey, or a Rover. What do Satanists drive?

Couldn’t all that just be seen as distraction? For goodness sake worrying about where one would be if one died tonight as opposed to tomorrow afternoon, and then coping with the rush hour too, its enough to make one use the train…

Whatever happened to “If you can read this you’re too fucking close”?
It was infinitely preferable to this obnoxious twaddle.
Anyhoo, if it’s South Carolina, shouldn’t the licence (license?) plate image be a burning cross superimposed on a lynch mob?

…so the god-botherers are bothered about putting god-bothering plates on vehicles….? strikes me that it is just something else to have a good old whinge about…!! why can’t they just enjoy their religion and shut up about it…?

I think they see it as their duty to annoy the living daylights I mean teach the Heathen masses the error of their ways, but most Heathens know the errors…
