Frank Rich’s Metaphorical Journalism Masterclass
FRANK Rich on how to string a sentence together:
“Top Bush hands are starting to get sweaty about where they left their fingerprints. Scapegoating the rotten apples at the bottom of the military’s barrel may not be a slam-dunk escape route from accountability anymore” -Frank Rich, New York Times, July 13

Bush has given the world such a cosy warm feel, hasn’t he? What isn’t global warming is a lot of hostility from a right mixed bag……hmmm

Behind every atrocity there’s a mixture of fear, hate, resentment and anger - you would hope that world leaders could be more rational but the whole process of getting to the top and staying there tends to make them all paranoid and unstable and then they take it out on others.
Democracy is better than tyranny - but only if you curb their powers so they can’t invade other countries or abuse the populace.

America needs to start curbing.
So do we - but our state is harder to make accountable - unless one of their own stabs them in the back they can hide anything (it’s the gentlemanly, sporting, fair play, there by the grace of God… thing to do).
