Bless you John! Just be glad that your poor Mum has gone off to somewhere better and is no longer suffering in a UK hospital. I truly believe that Spirits don’t hang around. It’s us that do the suffering having to watch the degradation and the filthy standards of our hospitals.

I can’t even begin to say what happened to my Mother - even though it’s three years almost.

One of my best friends Mother was on the same ward the same week as my Mum and had MRSA - and was on an 8 bed ward for weeks - because they didn’t have an isolation ward.

And if I told you that yet another poor woman died in the bed opposite my Mother one night and was not moved until approximately 18 hours later I don’t think that anybody would believe me on here - but it’s true and my complaints fell on deaf ears without an apology and I was so distressed at the time that I did not go to the newspapers or threaten to sue what is a major flagship hospital.

But there’s time yet and I’m getting my strength back!

The reason that they were treated like this was because they were no longer in their prime and had crossed the over-60 line.

Hi Coco,
Thanks for your mail. Many years ago my dear mother was dying of cancer of the bowels and after treatment in London hospitals it was decided on medical reasons to place her in an Alms House close to Clapham Common. Her health was very poor when she entered, but with a week , she was dead. The passing away happened on a Friday, and I went with my older sister to an undertakers immediately to arrange the funeral.The undertakers said that it wasn’t possible to collect my mother until the following Monday. That, at the time didn’t seem to be a problem, but when we returned to the undertakers to see my mother for the final time, the manager advised against it.Why? The Alms House had never mentioned to anyone that they NEVER possessed ANY refrigeration units to help maintain the body of a person !
I also think in hindsight, that a form of euthanasia was carried out within that Alms house…..a get them in and get them out approach to people.

It used to be like that here - but there’s always a bloody autopsy or a coroner involved these days - in case there’s something suspicious about the death - which nine times out of ten there ususally is lol!

MRSA and euthanasia by family is rife over here at the moment! lol

In Brazil, when a person dies they are usually buried or cremated in around 24 hours.
The UK system normally takes about a week but here it really is a case of here today and GONE tomorrow.
