Quite right Anorak, Brooklyn probably plays better than at least half of the Galaxy.
No wonder they call it ’soccer’ here…. This aint no football… no way.
I would have happily given one of my testicles to play for Real Madrid and Dave walks away!
AAAAKK!
Oh well, I may not be as rich as him and I didn’t play as well as he used to, but at least my voice is a lot deeper than his (I’m clutching at straws here).

Time is running out for Dave, the baseball season is nearing it’s conclusion. We’ll have the frenzy of the playoffs and World Series (World?). Plus the NFL, NBA, and NHL will all be starting soon. Once that lot gets going the guys on ESPN will have something better to talk about than him, actually most of the coverage I’ve seen has been of the ‘who cares’ or ‘who’s this guy?’ type. There’s a nightly show called Pardon The Interuption, which is very funny and intelligent, intelligent does not describe most American sports coverage. Anyway, these guys talked a little about him at first but now never mention him. As one said “No one cares about this, why are we discussing it.” And they pretty much haven’t since.
Poor Dave, all this and he has to go home to that sour faced stick insect of a wife of his. I wonder, if they had no kids would he still put up with her?
Still, he can always amuse himself counting his money.
And if that gets boring he can always send me some and I’ll play with it.
To quote The Goons (yes, I’m that old) “Just write your name on a five pound note and send it off to meeee….”
