(bloody colonials, they call their native version of Gaelic Football “Football”).

Er, no they don't, it's footie. Never did I ever hear anyone refer to Aussie Rules as 'football'

M and A

Chenier
You actually do know someone who knows one of his ex’s…

-----------------------------------

Ok!

And to think that up till now the closest I ever got to knowing someone famous was knowing someone who knew someone who knew JFK.

Well, that and skewering Omar Sharif with my stilettos at Deauville Racecourse, which doesn't really count because I was avoiding a horse at the time...

It's even better, because I know EXACTLY who this Antipodean player is, him and his graceful mate Viduka striding our hallowed turf, and not calling the game "soccer" anymore (bloody colonials, they call their native version of Gaelic Football "Football").

Still, had to chortle to self at the references to how little Liverpool fans see him, I forgot that he was still even under contract with htem, he's from the Baros era. Excellent satire, and yes, Anorak, OK really are scraping the bottom of the old barrel with Harry "Un" Kewell

Because I’m pretty sure that there must be a lot of people that I have never heard of who need to be rescued from oblivion…

Here! Here! says Smudd

In the same vein, might Anorak in the near future consider denying the oxygen of publicity to established non-entities such as Vicktoreeeah&Day-vid Greedham, Kerry-Ke -Kan't-oh-nah, Cherdonna and Anthea Turner? I'll get me tarpaulin...

I was wondering why I had never heard of Harry Kewell.

Thank you for rescuing him from the dark forces which conspired against anyone ever having heard of him.

Is this going to be a regular Anorak feature?
