Olympic Smug Report.

Breaking News………..

Rumours are that the Olympics may be called off today after the McCanns ‘Lights for Madeliene’ campaign brings Beijing to a stand still due to smug. As the roadshow wheeled it’s way east after a little blond Chinese girl with black hair was seen with a faulty eye, the level of smugness has become unbearable.”

“I only saw her briefly from fifty yards away in the late evening of the 5th May 2007″ the witness Stam mered “Her eyes were very narrow but I’m sure in her right eye where the pupil runs into the iris is in the form of a black radial strip reaching from the pupil out to the edge of the white of the eye at the ‘7 o’clock’ position, about 30° clockwise from the bottom. It all came back to me yesterday after I saw the award money available in the files.”

An Olympic official said ” If we at least could get CM out of China the smug levels will drop dramatically . Thank god the parents stayed at home that would have definately pushed the smug levels to a all time high”.

The campaign is being vigourously adhered to by thousands of Monks standing inside the Tibet border by six inches. A monk spokesman said ” We thank the McCanns for the orange ‘ Find Maddie, Free Tibet’ robes the McCanns have supplied, which at only a fiver each was a bargain” he smiled “and the thousand of candles at 50p each , they are very kind”.
A voice from the back piped up ” They lit the first one for free, too”.

So there you have it will the Olympics survive 2008? and if it does will the Smug levels in 2012 London threaten again?
If it does, lets hope that it is ‘ a little girls smugness’ in the air. If that is the case the Olympics won’t be held in Portugal for a very long time!
