Global Warming: Warmists Skew The Arctic Ice Tipping Point
GLOBAL warming - the truth is out there:
On April 24 the World Wildife Fund (WWF), another body keen to keep the warmist flag flying, published a study warning that Arctic sea ice was melting so fast that it may soon reach a “tipping point” where “irreversible change” takes place.
This was based on last September’s data, showing ice cover having shrunk over six months from 13 million square kilometres to just 3 million.
What the WWF omitted to mention was that by March the ice had recovered to 14 million sq km (see the website Cryosphere Today), and that ice-cover around the Bering Strait and Alaska that month was at its highest level ever recorded
In Snowdon, where there’s no snow, tthe builders are getting snowed on (gerrit?)…

We’re “DOOMED” I tell ya… DOOMED!!! We’re either going to freeze to death, burn in Hells fires, or suffer the slow death of American political expediency. ’twas nice knowing you all, and to all a… good night!

Large area, but thin ice. Melts more quickly meaning that more ice will melt this year. This ice formation is down to the Mpemba effect (Do a wiki search for it, carry out the experiments yourself if you like, then come back here).
If you ready the wiki you’ll now know why the ice formed more quickly this and last year, and why it will melt oh so more quickly this summer.

I can see it now - if you buy a gas guzzler you get hammered with tax, if you don’t buy one you get hammered with tax.
Methinks the government may sense a win win scenario.

In 1971 [or was it 1972/1973] already they promised me we’d get a tropical climate in The Netherlands. I’m still waiting….

I wish they would make their minds up. When I moved house last time, based on rising sea levels, I worked out that would have a lovely little seaside place by the time I retire.
