Josef Fritzl, who locked his daughter in a cellar dungeon for 24 years, has asked permission to leave his prison cell after admitting he can no longer stand being cooped up.

Poor guy. Boo hoo. I guess this means he’ll be getting some sunshine, exercise, and fresh air. He better appreciate it, but I doubt it will make him think of how his dungeon family was badly stored. He’s too busy thinking up reasons that he’s an okay guy to write into his memoirs.

I think they should just put him in his own cellar, he liked it sooo much, and throw away the key

Perhaps just decrease the size of the cellar a bit ….. bit by bit …. year by year ….. until all he’s got is four walls pinning him in, and can’t move …. (and make sure there’s pictures of those he kept in the cellar pinned up all around him) …. keep the memories alive for him, and make his last years on earth a living hell

D. Telegraph says they can only put him away for ten years since Austria doesn’t do Concurrent/Consecutive ( whatever
) sentences and the only charge they can make stick is false imprisonment.

The rape’n'incest stuff apparently won’t stand because there is “only” the testimoney of his imprisoned/raped daughter and it was well, you’know, so long ago. ( whatever happened to DNA ? ).

If Fritzl can “only” be accused of imprisonment, it shows what stupid fucks Europeans really are (as if we didn’t know that already). Maybe they should set him up in one of their hotel-like prisons to spare him the trauma of being cooped up, and then parole him like they did decades ago on his rape charge (he spent, what a year in jail on that??). I mean, he had a bad childhood, right?

I have yet to hear how the daughter escaped, or how this situation was discovered. Please tell me how it became public.
