Camping In Kingsnorth With Caroline Lucas
BACK to Kingsnorth power plant, Kent, where campaigners are protesting about a new replacement power plant. To the climate camp, then, in the company of the Guardian’s Caroline Lucas:
Sitting in a teepee in the peaceful Kent countryside, surrounded by campaigners from across the UK mulling over the future of renewable energy and swapping vegan cake recipes, you could be forgiven for temporarily forgetting the outside world and its many woes.
Because you’re too busy wondering what the hell you did wrong in life to bring you to this hellhole?

I had one weekend (while in university) of such nonsense. Actually I didn’t care at all about our ’cause’ I just wanted to have my way with a young lady who did care.
After I did I decided it was not worth the bother and returned to civilization.
Did this make me an evil hater of planet earth, or just a horny young man?
I suppose global warming is my fault now.
On the bright side I live on top of a hill, it will take longer for the flood to reach us

Should adopt Nosey’s ploy.
Take a sick child along with you - great excuse to ‘escape’ back to the comforts of a hot bath, warm house, and cosy bed!
P.S. Anyone else noticed that Nosey’s kids never get sick during the day, only at night time ?
Coincidence? Or Convenience ?

There is no crime sufficiently bad to warrant vegan cakes as a punishment.
I don’t care how many old age pensioners you’ve topped; the sitting in the teepee is adequate to deter and to punish.
But not the cake…
